L.A Woman (avril 1971) : le chant du cygne des Doors avec Jim Morrison. Entre blues étouffant et rock psychédélique, le groupe californien explore l'amour, la condition humaine et la séduction du mode de vie californien. Dernier opus avec Morrison, décédé quelques mois après sa sortie, l'album devient hymne funèbre et triomphe commercial (double platine aux États-Unis et en France).
